About the Artist

Rohan Verdonck is a New York City–based visual artist working primarily in acrylic painting.

His work has been featured in a series of solo exhibitions at The Buckley School from Spring 2022 to the present, displayed in the main hallway outside Head of School O’Melia’s office. He was the first student in Buckley’s history to present a solo art exhibition, under the advisement of Ms. Robin Tewes. His exhibition series includes A Collection of Expressionist Portraits (Spring 2022), Exponential Black (Fall 2022), Black Holes (Spring 2023), and A Visual History of Greco-Roman Columns (Spring 2025).

Rohan has studied visual arts and art history through programs at The Metropolitan Museum of Art (2015–2020), the Guggenheim Museum (2021–2022), the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum (2019–2020), and The Art Students League of New York (2023–2024).
